Scope
The purpose of this standard is to provide a classification for the various profiles (classification methods) that can be submitted or have been submitted as International Standardized Profiles (ISP). GB/T 16682.1 specifies the concepts of various profiles that have been formed into documents, and guides organizations to draft proposals for international standardized profiles according to the nature and content of the documents. There are profiles classifications in this standard that do not reflect the opinion that SGFS requires profiles to have certain capabilities. It merely provides the ability to uniquely identify that function, and the ability to assess PDISP. As the various profiles are drawn up according to the needs identified by the SGFS and based on the progress of the underlying standardization, the taxonomy is periodically revised or new sections added to reflect the progress achieved. It has also been considered that there will be some proposals to expand the classification to include functions that have not been determined during the development of this edition of GB/T 16682. These extensions can be determined by each drafter, which includes simple extensions to the existing classification methods or addition of some new functional areas that are not currently included in GB/T 16682. These expanded contents are managed in accordance with the procedures established by SGFS. A distinction has been made between a profile and an ISP containing one or more profile files. This classification method is only related to profiles, but further information has been given in "ISP has a directory of profiles it contains". As for this directory, the ISP contains the profile file. This catalog has been maintained as SGFS Standing Document SD-4, and for each draft outline submitted to SGFS, additional information is also provided, including the status of the established outline
