《GB/T 16755-2008机械安全 安全标准的起草与表述规则》由TC208（全国机械安全标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准代替GB/T 16755-1997《机械安全　安全标准的起草与表述规则》。
本标准对GB/T 16755-1997做了如下技术修改：
―――删除标准正文中的第０章“引言”；
―――增加了术语“B1类标准”、“B2类标准”、“相关危险”、“重大危险”、“增补内容”及其定义；
―――用图１给出特定机器或机器组涉及的危险；
―――对第4章的结构进行了优化调整，并增加了“增补内容”的条款要求；
―――在6.10中增加了噪声、振动标准的要求；
―――将6.11中的“标准的附录”改为“规范性附录”，“提示的附录”改为“资料性附录”；
―――在6.11.2中增加了“重大危险列表”的要求；
―――删除了“附录A”，并将附录Ｂ改为附录A，附录的性质由资料性附录改为规范性附录，且内容改为无可用B类标准时应遵从的程序；
―――合并附录C 和附录C为资料性附录B，并且内容改为规定C类标准的结构。

Scope

This standard specifies the drafting and revision of standards for machinery safety and safety components and their expression rules, the main purpose of which is to achieve coordination and quality of the various standards formulated. This standard also specifies the requirements for selection criteria for new work items, as well as the requirements for fast and efficient development, preparation or revision of standard procedures. Due to the special requirements of machinery safety standards and safety component standards, the requirements given in this standard are a necessary supplement to GB/T 1.1. This standard is mainly used for the drafting of C-type standards. This standard is also applicable to the drafting of Type B standards, however, expected changes in the format of such standards will limit the scope of application of this standard. When the requirements in this standard are only applicable to category B standards, it should be stated.
