Scope
This standard provides detailed guidance on the working characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of flame retardant fluids, and the factors that should be considered in the selection of flame retardant fluids. It stipulates the measures to be taken to reduce the difficulties caused in the use of flame retardant fluids, and the measures that must be taken when replacing with different flame retardant fluids. This standard also addresses hydraulic circuit arrangements using flame retardant fluids.
