Scope
This standard specifies the general principles of intercommunication between two or more networks. This standard is applicable to: - defines the principle and detailed configuration of interworking of different networks for providing data transmission services; - stipulates the relationship between user interfaces, inter-exchange signaling systems and other network functions in general network conditions Interactions necessary to support data transmission services, telematics services and, where appropriate, support related functions of OSI connection mode network services; - Principles defined as international user facilities and international network utilities for realizing data transmission services .
