Scope
This part of GB/T 17178 specifies guidelines for the concepts of Implementation Conformity Statement (ICS) and System Conformity Statement (SCS) of the OSI specification, specifies requirements, and gives ICS generation, ICS form, and ICS template and profile requirements list (RL) guidelines. This Part specifies the structure, questions to be asked, grammar and notation used, and the semantics of questions and expected answers for GB/T 17178 documents. Due to the wide diversity of OSI specifications declared by conformance requirements, no general ICS template is provided. However, the general requirements specified in this standard apply to any ISO specification. Apart from guidance on the relationship between ICS and implementing additional information testing (IXIT), requirements and guidance on IXIT are outside the scope of this standard.
