《GB/T 17230-1998放射性物质安全运输 货包的泄漏检验》由TC58（全国核能标准化技术委员会）归口，TC58SC2（全国核能标准化技术委员会辐射防护分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了一种用于放射性物质运输货包泄漏检验的气体泄漏检验法。采用该方法可在设计、制造、装运前和定期检验等阶段对运输货包进行验证，以证明货包符合规定的包容要求。本标准并未规定具体的气体泄漏检验程序，仅给出了进行各种气体泄漏检验方法的最低要求。本标准适用于有规定包容要求的B型货包，其他类型的货包也可参照使用。

Scope

This standard specifies a gas leak test method for leak test of radioactive material transport packages. This approach allows verification of transport packages during design, manufacture, pre-shipment and periodic inspections to demonstrate compliance with specified containment requirements. This standard does not specify specific gas leak testing procedures, but only gives the minimum requirements for various gas leak testing methods.
