Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for access devices (steps, ladders, walkways, platforms, handrails/handrails, grab handles, guardrails and enclosure access), which are used to assist drivers, maintenance personnel and service personnel on earth-moving machinery Operation. This standard applies to the access devices leading to the driver's platform and daily maintenance points on earth-moving machinery parked according to the manufacturer's instructions (see GB/T 8498). This standard addresses the following significant hazards, hazardous states and hazardous events: slips, trips and falls of persons, and unhealthy postures or excessive physical exertion.
