Scope

This part of GB/T 17417 specifies the method for the determination of scandium in rare earth ores. This standard is applicable to rare earth ores, as well as beryllium ores, lithium, rubidium, cesium ores, zirconium ores and the determination of scandium in rocks, and the results are expressed as scandium trioxide. Measuring range: scandium trioxide from 0.2μg/g to 500μg/g.
