《GB/T 17548-2008信息技术 POSIX标准符合性的测试方法规范和测试方法实现的要求和指南》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，TC28SC22（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会程序设计语言分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准适用于ＰＯＳＩＸ 标准符合性测试方法的开发和使用，也适用于其他应用编程接口规范的开发和使用。 本标准旨在供测试方法规范和测试方法实施的开发者和使用者使用。本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５４８―１９９８，与１９９８版标准相比，本标准发生了如下的主要变化：
―――标准名称改为“ＰＯＳＩＸ 标准符合性的测试方法规范和测试方法实现的要求和指南”；
―――引用标准中由软件工程术语国家标准ＧＢ／Ｔ１１４５７―２００６代替了原文中的ＩＥＥＥＳｔｄ７２９，其他引用标准均改为对应的国家标准；
―――增加了断言的类型，并对每种断言类型从结构、语法等方面进行了介绍；
―――增加了测试方法实现和测试方法规范对测试结果代码的要求描述；
―――增加了轮廓测试方法和宏方面的内容；
―――增加了用Ｃ 语言和Ａｄａ语言编写断言的示例。

Scope

This standard applies to the development and use of POSIX standard compliance test methods, and also applies to the development and use of other application programming interface specifications. This International Standard is intended for use by developers and users of test method specifications and test method implementations. Users of this International Standard include: — assertion writers: to format assertions; — assertion test writers: to write assertion tests; — purchasers of test suites or systems: to interpret the results of test suites.
