Scope

It includes card layout, recording technique, numbering system and degree of registration, but does not include security requirements. GB/T 17554 specifies the test process for cards used to detect the parameters specified in this standard. This standard specifies the requirements for cards when they are used for identification. It considers both human and machine, pointing out the minimum requirements. Note: In this standard, numerical values expressed in metric and/or imperial measurement systems may have been rounded so that they are consistent, but not necessarily identical. In any system, both units can be used, but the two cannot be mixed or converted. The original design used the imperial system.
