Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and marking of nickel-chromium-silicon-nickel-silicon-magnesium thermocouple wires. This standard applies to the manufacture of industrial nickel-chromium-silicon-nickel-silicon-magnesium thermocouple (N-type thermocouple) alloy wire (hereinafter referred to as the wire).
