Introduction

1. Background and development of the standard

GB/T17775-2003 "Classification and evaluation of quality levels of tourist areas (spots)" is an important national standard for regulating the quality management of Chinese tourist attractions. Since its release, this standard has replaced the old version GB/T17775-1999, which is of great significance to improving the service quality of tourist attractions and promoting the healthy development of the tourism industry.
