《GB/T 17856-1999放射治疗模拟机 性能和试验方法》由TC10（全国医用电器标准化技术委员会）归口，TC10SC3（全国医用电器标准化技术委员会放射治疗、核医学和放射剂量学设备分会）执行，主管部门为国家药品监督管理局。
本标准适用于使用诊断X射线设备模拟放射治疗辐射束几何条件、确定放射治疗过程中受到辐照的治疗体积和辐射野的位置及辐射野尺寸的放射治疗模拟机。本标准适用于使用符合GB 9706.3―1992要求、工作电压不超过400kV高压发电器的模拟机。本标准仅适用于在放射治疗前进行放射治疗模拟检验，而不用作其他目的，如诊断等。

Scope

This standard applies to radiotherapy simulators (hereinafter referred to as simulators) that use diagnostic X-ray equipment to simulate the geometric conditions of radiotherapy radiation beams, determine the irradiated treatment volume, the position of the radiation field and the size of the radiation field during radiotherapy. This standard applies to simulators using high-voltage generators that meet the requirements of GB 9706.3-1992 and whose working voltage does not exceed 400kV. This standard is only applicable to radiation therapy simulation test before radiation therapy, not for other purposes, such as diagnosis. A simulator conforming to this standard consists of the following components: a system capable of generating X-rays not exceeding 400kV, used to simulate the geometric conditions of radiotherapy radiation beams; a system capable of generating transmitted X-ray images by means of photographic perspective; A device that can define the size of the radiation beam and define the treatment area; a mechanical structure that can actually simulate the geometric conditions of the radiotherapy equipment and its movement, and can support the imaging system; a treatment couch. Equipment to which this standard applies must be used under the supervision of qualified personnel. Unless otherwise stated, the radiation therapy simulators targeted by this standard have an isocentric gantry with no pitch and swing of the radiation head. During any test, only those controls normally accessible to the operator are permitted to make adjustments to the simulator, and such adjustments are considered part of the normal operation of the simulator.
