Scope
Warning: This part of GB/T 18029 reminds that if proper precautions are not taken during operation, personal injury may occur. This section only provides relevant technical suitability and does not exempt those legal obligations related to health and safety from performing or commissioning tests. For tests that may cause dangerous movements of the wheelchair, it is recommended to fully estimate the possible results before conducting the test, so that proper arrangements can be made to minimize the risk. Scope: This part of GB/T 18029 specifies the requirements and related test methods for the power and control systems of electric wheelchairs and electric scooters. The safety and performance requirements specified in this section apply in normal use as well as in the case of improper operation and failure. This standard also specifies the method of measurement of the force required to manipulate the controller and the range of force required for certain operations. This part of GB/T 18029 is applicable to electric motor vehicles with a maximum speed not exceeding 15 km/h, used for indoor, outdoor and road types, and limited to the range of user mass specified in GB/T 18029.11. Wheelchairs and electric scooters.
