本标准规定了猪繁殖与呼吸综合征（PRRS）的诊断方法。
本标准适用于猪繁殖与呼吸综合征的诊断。
本标准与GB/T 18090-2000相比主要变化如下：
―――增加了临床诊断；
―――免疫过氧化物酶单层试验作连续4倍稀释，结果的判定按照OIE编写的《陆生动物诊断试验和疫苗手册（哺乳动物、禽与蜜蜂）》（第五版，2004）的内容作了相应的修改；
―――增加了反转录聚合酶链反应试验。

This standard specifies the diagnostic methods for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS). This standard applies to the diagnosis of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome.
