《GB/T 18151-2008激光防护屏》由TC288（全国安全生产标准化技术委员会）归口，TC288SC7（全国安全生产标准化技术委员会防尘防毒分会）执行，主管部门为应急管理部。
本标准等同采用国际电工委员会IEC 60825-4:2006《激光产品安全――第4部分：激光防护屏》，仅有编辑性修改。
本标准是对GB 18151-2000的修订。
本标准详细说明了永久和临时（例如维修时）用来围封激光加工机工作区域的激光防护屏以及专用
激光防护屏的要求。
本标准适用于包括目视透明屏及视窗、平板、激光帘和壁在内的一个防护屏的全部组件。对光路组
件、快门和不完全围封加工区的激光产品防护罩的要求包含在GB 7247.1中。
本标准还指出了：
a）如何评估和规范激光防护屏的防护性质；
b）如何选择激光防护屏。
本标准与GB 18151-2000相比，主要变化如下：
――由强制性标准改为推荐性标准；
――正文由3章增加到5章；
――附录由3个增加到6个；
――图示由9个增加到32个；
――增加了2个表格；
――取消了IEC 前言；
――删除了1.3.18，因为该条款已包含在GB 7247.1中；
――纠正了一个错误：C.1FEL和PEL的区别：“最大值”应为“最小值”；
――修正了D.2中两处不适当措辞：
・激光束垂直照射样品表面，“垂直”改为“近似行垂直”；
・样品受激光照射产生温度，“温度”改为“温升”。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for permanent and temporary (such as maintenance) laser protective screens and special laser protective screens used to enclose the working area of laser processing machines. This standard applies to all components of a protective screen including visually transparent screens and windows, panels, laser curtains and walls. The requirements for optical path components, shutters and laser product protective covers that do not completely enclose the processing area are included in GB 7247.1. This standard also points out: a) how to evaluate and standardize the protective properties of laser protective screens; b) how to choose laser protective screens.
