1 Scope

This standard specifies the principle, instruments, procedure, calculation of results and precision of determination of distillation range for coking viscous oil products.

This standard is applicable to the determination of distillation range for coking viscous oil products such as coking wash oil, coal-tar-creosote, coking feedstock oil for carbon black, anthracene oil and fuel oil.

3 Principle

The distillation range of the tested sample is calculated according to the data obtained from the test that a certain amount of sample is distilled under the experimental conditions and the condensate is collected at the specified temperature.
