Introduction
In-depth interpretation of the star-rating and evaluation standards for swimming venues
1. Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T 18266.3-2017 "Classification of Sports Venues Part 3: Star-rating and evaluation of swimming venues" is an important part of the standardization construction of my country's sports industry. This standard aims to promote the overall improvement of the service quality of swimming venues through scientific and reasonable star-rating, and provide consumers with a safer, healthier and more comfortable sports environment.
2. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Star rating | Basic conditions | Water quality management requirements | Safety requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grade C | The lowest standard, applicable to basic swimming venues. Pool bank width ≥ 1.5m, no water seepage at the bottom of the pool. | Water quality monitoring at least twice a day, equipped with basic disinfection equipment. | Must have lifeguards and basic safety facilities. |
| Grade B | Medium standard, suitable for larger swimming venues. Equipped with event service system. | Water quality monitoring results are publicized every day, equipped with circulating filtration equipment. | There is at least one intermediate lifeguard, with emergency drill records. |
| Grade A | The highest standard, suitable for high-end swimming venues. Large and medium-sized events can be held. | Water quality real-time monitoring system, no unqualified records in the year. | Independent central control room, equipped with emergency power supply, and with professional training capabilities. |
3. Recommendations for the implementation of the standard
3.1 Practical application cases of star classification
Take a five-star swimming pool as an example:
- Equipped with a long pool and warm-up pool that meet the GB/T22517.2 standard.
- Install professional lighting equipment for competitions (JGJ153 requirements).
- Provide multilingual reception services, including English, Japanese, etc.
3.2 Specific measures to improve service quality
Suggestions for swimming pools:
- Establish a complete employee training system to ensure that service personnel are certified before taking up their posts.
- Regularly update and maintain water treatment equipment to ensure that water quality meets GB9667 standards.
- Optimize safety management processes, especially during nighttime opening hours.
