Scope
This standard applies to ID connections which are accessible when tested and measured in accordance with Part 3, and which are connected to: ---- properly designed ID terminations; ---- having solid round conductors (nominal diameter 0.25mm to 3.6mm) wires; ---- wires with stranded conductors (cross-section 0.05mm2 to 10mm2); This connection is used in communication equipment and electronic equipment using similar technology. In order to obtain a stable electrical connection under the specified environmental conditions, in addition to the test procedures, this standard also specifies some empirical data based on actual industrial use.
