Scope
This standard specifies the testing and evaluation parameters, testing methods, testing conditions, testing equipment, testing preparations, testing procedures, testing results evaluation, etc. of fuel consumption of road transport vehicles. This standard is applicable to in-service passenger cars and commercial trucks that burn diesel or gasoline and have a rated total mass greater than 3,500kg.
