《GB/T 18714.1-2002信息技术 开放分布式处理 参考模型 第1部分:概述》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，TC28SC7（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会软件与系统工程分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准覆盖了建立ODP系统的模型所需的概念（见第5章至第14章）和符合ODP系统的原则（见第15章）。第5章到见第15章所定义的概念用于开放分布式处理的参考模型中，以支持作出以下的定义：a)遵守参考模型的标准族的结构；b)声称遵循参考模型的分布式系统的结构（指系统的配置）；c)用来表示多种支持性标准联合使用所需的概念；d)组成开放分布式系统的各种组件的规范所用的基本概念。

Scope

This standard: - gives an introduction and motivation for ODP; - provides an overview of the Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing (RM-ODP) and an explanation of its key concepts; - gives how to use the ODP Reference Model guide. This standard contains overviews and detailed explanations, and when reading this standard, you can proceed in the following different ways: a) If you only want to get a general understanding of the importance of ODP to your organization by reading this standard, then just read Chapter 6; b) If you want to study the entire ODP reference model, you should also read Chapter 6 before deeply understanding GB/T 18714.2 and ISO/IEC 10746-3; C) After reading GB/T 18714.2 and ISO/IEC 10746-3, you may want to consult Chapters 7 to 10, as they give supporting explanations for the various concepts defined in these public texts; d) when you have completed After reading the first round of GB/T 18714.2 and ISO/IEC 10746-3, you can read Chapters 11 and 12, which discuss the use of standards in the ODP system specification and provide several An example of the application of ODP concepts in the specification.
