《GB/T 18714.2-2002信息技术 开放分布式处理 参考模型 第2部分:基本概念》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，TC28SC7（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会软件与系统工程分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准覆盖了建立ODP系统的模型所需的概念（见第5章至第14章）和符合ODP系统的原则（见第15章）。第5章到见第15章所定义的概念用于开放分布式处理的参考模型中，以支持作出以下的定义：a)遵守参考模型的标准族的结构；b)声称遵循参考模型的分布式系统的结构（指系统的配置）；c)用来表示多种支持性标准联合使用所需的概念；d)组成开放分布式系统的各种组件的规范所用的基本概念。

Scope

This International Standard covers the concepts required to model ODP systems (see Clauses 5 to 14) and the principles for conforming to ODP systems (see Clause 15). The concepts defined in Clauses 5 to 15 are used in the Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing to support the definition of: a) the structure of a family of standards that conforms to the Reference Model; b) a distributed system that claims to conform to the Reference Model The structure of the system (referring to the configuration of the system); c) the concept used to represent the joint use of multiple supporting standards; d) the basic concepts used in the specifications of the various components that make up the open distributed system.
