《GB/T 18740-2008地理标志产品 黄骅冬枣》由TC554（全国知识管理标准化技术委员会）归口，TC554SC1（全国知识管理标准化技术委员会地理标志分会）执行，主管部门为国家知识产权局。
本标准代替GB 18740-2002《黄骅冬枣》。本标准规定了黄骅冬枣的术语和定义、地理标志产品保护范围、种植技术、质量要求、试验方法、检验规则及包装、标签、运输和贮存。 本标准适用于国家质量监督检验检疫行政主管部门根据《地理标志产品保护规定》批准的黄骅冬枣。本标准与GB 18740-2002相比主要变化如下：
―――将强制性标准修订为推荐性标准；
―――根据国家质量监督检验检疫总局颁布的《地理标志产品保护规定》，修改相关名称内容；
―――调整了部分理化指标（２００２年版的５．６；本版的６．６）；
―――卫生指标采用了国家新发布的食品方面的强制性标准（２００２年版的５．７；本版的６．７）。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of Huanghua Dongzao, the protection scope of geographical indication products, planting technology, quality requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage. This standard is applicable to Huanghuadongzao approved by the national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products".
