Scope
This standard is a consistent application of GB/T 14814 SGML language. It describes the content of the HTML language adopted in "W3C Recommendations-HTML4.0" and specified in the following chapters, and identifies the HTML language and HTML specified in "W3C Recommendations-HTML4.0". All differences between the HTML languages defined by this standard: Chapter 2, Introduction to HTML 4.0; Chapter 5, HTML Document Representation; Chapter 6, Basic HTML Data Types, except 6.5, 6.14 and 6.16 ; Chapter 7, Global Structure of HTML Documents; Chapter 8, Language Information and Text Orientation; Chapter 9, Text; Chapter 10, Lists, except 10.4; Chapter 11, Tables; Chapter 12, Links; Chapter 13, Objects, Images, and Applets, except 13.4 and 13.7; Chapter 14, Style Sheets, except 14.2.2; Chapter 15.2.1, Font Element [type], Except [W3C15.2.1], [W3C15.2.1], [W3C15.2.1], [W3C15.2.1] and [W3C15.2.1] element [type]; · 15.3, rule: HR element [type]; · Article 17 Chapter, form; · Chapter 24, character entity reference in HTML4.0; · "Reference", standard reference and non-standard reference. This scope disregards any content in the W3C Recommendation - HTML 4.0 not listed here.
