《GB/T 18833-2002公路交通标志反光膜》由TC223（全国交通工程设施（公路）标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了公路交通标志反光膜的术语定义、产品分类、技术要求、测试方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。本标准适用于公路交通标志板、轮廓标和突起路标等所使用的各种反光膜。其他各种标志和交通安全设施器材用反光膜可以参照执行。

1 Scope
This standard specifies term definitions, product classification, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, transport and storage of retro-reflective sheeting for road traffic signs.
This standard is applicable to various retro-reflective sheetings on road traffic sign panels, delineators and raised road signs etc. Retro-reflective sheetings on other signs and traffic safety facilities may comply with this standard by reference.
