《GB/T 18878-2008滑道设计规范》由TC250（全国索道与游乐设施标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
该标准适用于依靠重力自行下滑的槽式、管轨式滑道和有动力式滑车滑道设计的基本原则及要求。适用于滑道及滑道配套设施的设计、制造、安装、改造、检验；不适用于水上滑道、无载人工具滑道。

1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic design principles and requirements of chute summer toboggan run, pipeway summer toboggan run and power-driven toboggan for summer toboggan run.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, installation, reconstruction and inspection of summer toboggan run and its complete sets.
This standard is not applicable to overwater summer toboggan run or summer toboggan run without manned tool.

3 Terminologies and Definitions

For the purpose of this standard, the following terminologies and definitions apply.
3.1
Summer toboggan run
Recreation facilities made of profile or chute material, laid or erected on ground with inclination and with the passenger manipulating the toboggan for summer toboggan run so that it slides along fixed route.
3.2
Chute summer toboggan run
The recreation facilities with the manned toboggan for summer toboggan run sliding on the chute-shaped rail.
3.3
Pipeway summer toboggan run
The recreation facilities with the manned toboggan for summer toboggan run sliding on the rail made of profile.
3.4
Average inclination of summer toboggan run
The ratio of height difference in the whole journey of summer toboggan run to the horizontal projection of the total length of summer toboggan run when it is deployed.
