Scope

This part of GB/T 18993 specifies the definitions, symbols and abbreviations used in chlorinated polyvinyl chloride piping systems for hot and cold water. This part also specifies the service condition level, material and hygienic performance requirements of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride piping systems for hot and cold water. Together with Parts 2 and 3, this Part applies to industrial and civil hot and cold water piping systems.
