Scope

This chapter of GB/T 19212.1-2016 is replaced by the following: This part of GB/T 19212 specifies the safety requirements for ignition transformers for gas and oil burners. Ignition transformers with electronic circuits are also included in this Part. Unless otherwise specified, the following "transformers" include gas and oil burner ignition transformers. This section applies to stationary, single-phase, air-cooled (self-cooled or air-cooled), dry-type transformers for gas and oil burner ignition systems. Its windings can be encapsulated or non-encapsulated. The rated power supply voltage does not exceed AC 1000 V, and the rated power supply frequency and internal operating frequency do not exceed 500 Hz. The rated short-circuit output current does not exceed AC 500 mA. No-load output voltage or rated output voltage does not exceed AC 15000V. This standard does not apply to external circuits and their components intended to be connected to the input terminals and output terminals or output sockets of the transformer. Transformers covered by this standard may be used when installation regulations or final product standards do not require double insulation or reinforced insulation between circuits.
