This standard is a technical specification for sewage discharge pipeline engineering, aiming to guide the scientific design and construction of sewage discharge systems and ensure the protection of the marine environment.

1. Background and significance of standard revision

In recent years, with the rapid development of my country's coastal economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the requirements for environmental protection have been increasing. The original standard GB/T 19570-2004 can no longer fully meet the needs of the new situation, mainly reflected in:
