Scope

This standard specifies the terminologies and definitions concerned with electric vehicles.
This standard is applicable to the complete vehicle, electrical machine and controller, battery and charger of electric vehicles.
Note: The relevant terminologies of fuel cell electric vehicles are temporarily not considered in this standard.
