本标准规定了建筑领域用岩棉绝热制品的适用范围、分类和标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输及贮存。
本标准适用于在建筑物围护结构上使用的岩棉，也适用于在具有保温功能上的建筑构件和地板使用的岩棉制品。
本标准不适用于外墙外保温薄抹灰系统使用的岩棉制品。
