Scope
This standard specifies the equipment and procedures for measuring the compressive properties of samples. This standard is applicable to thermal insulation products and can be used to determine the compressive stress in compression creep tests and thermal insulation materials during short-term load tests. This method can be used for quality control, and can also be used to obtain reference values, and calculate design values with safety factors and reference values.
