Key technical points of key test methods
1. Fiber diameter detection (Chapter 8)
Use the 200x microscope method, requiring the measurement of ≥100 effective fibers. After the airflow meter method is cancelled, please note:
- Immersion ratio: glycerol and distilled water 1:1
- Sampling volume: 1-2mm³ crushed fiber
- Calculation formula: X̄=(∑Xi)/n
2. Determination of slag ball content (Chapter 9)
Separation deviceFlow control requirements:
- Initial flow: 60L/h
- Separation flow: 120-180L/h
- Drying temperature: 105-110℃

Determination of Acidity Coefficient by ICP-AES (Article 10.4)

Pretreatment requires the use of perchloric acid + hydrofluoric acid to decompose the sample, and the detection limit is 10 times higher than that of the chemical method.
Recommendations for the implementation of the standard
- Laboratory configuration:ICP-AES equipment and diameter ruler (accuracy 0.1mm) are required
- Sample preparation specifications:Shake processing is required before measuring the tube shell (Article 7.2.2)
- Quality control:It is recommended to increase the monitoring of the heating rate of the thermal load test (Article 15.4.3)
- Data comparison:A conversion relationship should be established between the test results of the new and old standards (such as right-angle deviation)
Engineering application case
When a thermal insulation pipe project uses rock wool tube shell for detection:
- Eccentricity detection: measure 8 thickness points according to Article 7.3.5
- Volume density calculation: adopt the new formula ρ=10⁹m/[π(d₁-h)hL]
- Result deviation: about 3.5% lower than the old standard
