《GB/T 5480-2008矿物棉及其制品试验方法》由TC191（全国绝热材料标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国建筑材料联合会。
本标准规定了矿物棉及其制品的垂直度、平整度、尺寸、密度、纤维平均直径、渣球含量、酸度系数、吸湿性、油含量等试验方法的相关术语和定义、试验条件、试样的选娶试验方法以及试验记录。本标准适用于玻璃棉、岩棉、矿渣棉、硅酸铝棉及其制品各项性能的测定。其他类似绝热材料也可参照采用。其中矿物棉管壳制品的吸水性宜采用毛细管渗透试验，吸湿性试验仅适用于无覆面产品。 本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．１―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　总则》、ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．２―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　垂直度和平整度》、ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．３―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　尺寸和密度》、ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．４―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　纤维平均直径》、ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．５―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　渣球含量》、ＧＢ／Ｔ ５４８０．６―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　酸度系数》、ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．７―２００４《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　吸湿性》、ＧＢ／Ｔ５４８０．８―２００３《矿物棉及其制品试验方法　油含量》、ＧＢ／Ｔ１６４０１―１９９６《矿物棉制品吸水性试验方法》。对９项标准的内容进行了整合。

Scope
