Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
GB/T 19889.7-2022 is an important standard for building acoustics measurement. It replaces the 2005 version and integrates the relevant content of GB/T 19889.14-2010. The standard specifies the method of measuring the sound insulation performance of floor impact sound in the frequency range of 50Hz-5000Hz using two excitation sources: impactor and rubber ball.

- Expanded Measurement Range: Added rubber ball as a heavy and soft impact sound source, and improved the assessment of daily noise such as barefoot walking
- Enhanced low-frequency measurement: For rooms with a volume of less than 25m³, it is required to add 50/63/80Hz corner sound pressure level measurement
