《GB/T 19996-2005公开版地图质量评定标准》由TC230（全国地理信息标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为自然资源部(测绘地理)。
本标准规定了公开版地图质量评定的基本要求、方法、差错分类和质量分级评定标准。本标准适用于公开版地图和其他书刊中的地图插图，其他介质的公开版地图可参照本标准。

Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, methods, error classification and quality grading evaluation standards for the public map quality evaluation. This standard is applicable to public maps and map illustrations in other books, and public maps in other media can refer to this standard.
