Scope

This part of GB/T 20159 is used for the relationship and conversion guide between GB/T 4798.2 environmental condition classification and GB/T 2423 environmental test. The environment can include many environmental conditions such as mechanical, climatic, biological and other effects based on chemically and mechanically active substances. In this section only mechanical and climatic conditions are considered. The purpose of this section is to provide guidance to specifiers and a set of easy-to-use tables that facilitate the correlation and conversion of these conditions.
