本标准规定了额定功率750W(1hp)及以上旋转电机电枢和磁场绕组的测量方法。本标准适用于同步电机、感应电机、直流电机和同步调相机。本标准还阐述了旋转电机绕组绝缘电阻的典型特性,以及这些特性与绕组状况的关系。
Scope
This standard specifies the measurement method for the insulation resistance of armature and field windings of rotating electrical machines with a rated power of 750W (1hp) and above. This standard applies to synchronous motors, induction motors, DC motors and synchronous condensers (not applicable to fractional horsepower motors). This standard also describes typical characteristics of the insulation resistance of windings of rotating electrical machines, and the relationship of these characteristics to the condition of the windings. It also recommends the minimum value of the insulation resistance of the windings of AC motors and DC motors. Other IEEE standards related to insulation resistance measurement are listed in Chapter 2.
