Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of the amount of abrasion and scratches of rare earth polishing powder by double-sided grinding machine. This standard is applicable to the determination of the abrasiveness and scratch rate of rare earth polishing powder mainly composed of cerium-based rare earths. The measurement ranges are: erosion rate 0.05 mg/(cm2 min)~0.25 mg/(cm2 min), scratch rate 0%~100%.
