1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package and storage of cast steel suction valve for seaward sluice (hereinafter referred to as valve for seaward sluice) with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with those specified in GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of valve for seaward sluice for pipeline system with fresh water and seawater as medium.

3 Classification and Labeling

3.1 Type
The types of valve for seaward sluice are specified as follows:
Type B - valve for seaward sluice with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with GB/T 569.
Type BS - valve for seaward sluice with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with GB/T 2501.
