Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of marine center-type wafer-type and flange-type butterfly valves (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valves) with flange connection dimensions in accordance with GB/T 2501, CB/T 4196, JISB 2220, JISB 2239, JISB2240 and structural lengths in accordance with GB/T 12221 and JISB 2002. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of center-type butterfly valves for ship pipelines.
