Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of marine double eccentric wafer-type and flanged butterfly valves (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valves) with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces in accordance with GB/T2501-2010, CB/T 4196-2011, JIS B2220-2004, JIS B2239-2004, JIS B2240-2006, and structural lengths in accordance with GB/T12221 and JIS B2002. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of double eccentric butterfly valves for ship pipelines.
