Scope

This standard specifies the structure of the binary animal code for the animal radio frequency identification process. This standard applies to the identification of individual animals (including poultry and livestock, domestic pets, zoo animals, laboratory animals, etc.), and also applies to the processing and exchange of information related to animal management.
