Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard proposes special technical requirements for information transmission sockets in homes and similar places, and mainly regulates three types of interfaces: telephone interface, network interface and television interface. For the first time, the standard clearly separates the technical requirements of information sockets from power sockets to form an independent technical system.

Technology Evolution Analysis
Compared with the previous version, this standard mainly strengthens the requirements in three aspects:
- Transmission performance classification: New 6A/7/7A socket indicators are added, supporting a maximum transmission frequency of 1000MHz
- EMC requirements: Clarify the working stability of shielded sockets under a field strength of >3V/m
- Mechanical reliability: The number of network interface plugging and unplugging times is increased from 500 to 750 times

A smart home project uses Category 6A shielded sockets, and the actual measurement at a frequency of 500MHz:
- Insertion loss 0.43dB (standard limit 0.45dB)
- Near-end crosstalk attenuation 54.2dB (standard requirement ≥54dB)
Fully meets the needs of 4K video transmission.
Implementation suggestions
- Selection guide: For high-frequency applications, give priority to 7A category fully shielded sockets
- Installation specifications: Keep the wire pair twist distance ≤13mm to reduce crosstalk
- Detection points: Focus on monitoring the key frequency indicators of 250/500MHz
