本标准规定了测定环境空气中气相烟碱的方法。本标准适用于烟草及烟草制品。


Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of gas-phase nicotine in ambient air. This standard applies to tobacco and tobacco products. Note 1: If this method is used to determine nicotine from smoke, it should be recognized that nicotine present in the air can only be used as a qualitative tracer of whether smoking behavior occurs. Studies have shown that other smoke components cannot be quantitatively deduced from the content of nicotine. See Appendix A and Reference [1] for limitations of use and scope of application.
