Scope

This standard specifies the minimum technical requirements for the design, construction, testing, management and maintenance of cathodic protection systems for the outer surface of buried steel pipelines on land (hereinafter referred to as pipelines). This standard applies to buried steel oil, gas and water pipelines on land.
