《GB/T 21588-2008危险品 中型散装容器底部提升试验方法》由TC251（全国危险化学品管理标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准为首次制定。本标准规定了所有纤维板和木质中型散装容器以及装有底部提升装置的危险品中型散装容器底部提升试验的试验设备、试样准备、试样数量、试验步骤及试验报告。本标准适用于所有纤维板和木质中型散装容器以及装有底部提升装置的危险品中型散装容器底部的提升试验。 本标准对应于联合国《关于危险货物运输的建议书 规章范本》，与其一致性程度为非等效。其有关技术内容与上述手册完全一致，在标准文本格式上按ＧＢ／Ｔ１．１―２０００做了编辑性修改。
Scope
This standard specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, sample size, test procedure and test report for the bottom lifting test of all fibreboard and wooden IBCs and IBCs for dangerous goods fitted with bottom lifting devices. This standard applies to all fibreboard and wooden IBCs and to tests for bottom lift tests on dangerous goods IBCs fitted with bottom lifting devices.
