Scope
This document specifies the permissible deviations of the chemical composition of finished products (including billets) of non-alloy steels, low-alloy steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, heat-resistant steels, wrought corrosion-resistant alloys, and high-temperature alloys relative to the specified melting chemical composition limits, and provides definitions of related terms. This document applies to the provisions on permissible deviations of the chemical composition of finished products in product standards and technical agreements for steel and alloys.
