Scope

This standard specifies the method for evaluating the energy efficiency of biocides used in cooling water systems to kill heterotrophic bacteria. This standard applies to the evaluation of the bactericidal efficiency of oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides on heterotrophic bacteria.
