1 Scope

This standard specifies the test methods and test limits with regards to interturn insulation of field pole coil and field winding for electrical machines.
This standard is applicable to the voltage withstand test for the interturn insulation of field pole coil and field winding of DC electrical machines and synchronous electrical machines.
